Gorgias pricing combines a helpdesk plan priced by monthly ticket volume with AI Agent billed per automated interaction. As of October 2026, gorgias.com lists Starter at $10, Basic at $60, Pro at $360 and Advanced at $900 a month on monthly billing, for 50 to 5,000 tickets. AI Agent costs $0.90 per automated interaction on annual plans and $1.00 on monthly plans.

This guide is for the support lead or founder of an online store who runs Gorgias, or is budgeting for it. Every price below comes from Gorgias’s own pricing page and help centre, read in US dollars on 26 October 2026. For how Gorgias compares with Zendesk, see our Gorgias vs Zendesk guide.

Source: Gorgias pricing page, USD, as of October 2026. AI Agent: $0.90 per automated interaction on annual plans, $1.00 on monthly plans, and $1.50 per interaction above the included allotment, per the offer data published with the page.

What does Gorgias cost in 2026?

Gorgias costs $10 to $900 a month for the helpdesk on monthly billing, or $50 to $750 a month on annual billing, as of October 2026. AI Agent is charged on top per automated interaction. With AI Agent added, the pricing page shows Starter at $40, Basic at $90, Pro at $550 and Advanced at $1,430 a month on monthly billing.

Gorgias puts its model in one line on the pricing page: the helpdesk “scales from 50 to 5,000 tickets a month, never priced per agent”. The bill has three lines to forecast:

  • Helpdesk tickets: your plan’s monthly price, plus extra tickets above the plan’s limit.
  • Automated interactions: the AI Agent allotment you choose, plus $1.50 for each interaction above it.
  • Add-ons: Voice and SMS, billed per Voice or SMS ticket, plus sales tax where it applies.

With AI Agent added on annual billing, the bundled prices are Basic $77 ($924 a year), Pro $471 ($5,652 a year) and Advanced $1,227 ($14,724 a year). Starter is billed monthly only, at $40 with AI Agent.

What are the Gorgias pricing plans?

Gorgias’s pricing page lists four plans with published prices in October 2026: Starter, Basic, Pro and Advanced (Advanced is bought through sales), plus a custom Enterprise plan for teams over 5,000 conversations a month. Plans differ by ticket volume, seats, features and support. Every plan can add AI Agent, with an allotment of automated interactions included.

One bill.', with Annual billing selected and Add AI Agent switched on: Starter at $40 a month billed monthly, Basic at $77, Pro at $471 and Advanced at $1,227 a month billed annually, each split into a helpdesk and an AI Agent price with 30, 30, 190 and 530 automated interactions included, captured 26 October 2026.

  • Starter ($10 a month, monthly only): 50 tickets and 3 user seats. Gorgias’s plan comparison marks Voice and SMS add-ons, brand voice settings and AI Agent actions such as cancelling an order as not included, although the add-ons section of the same page says Voice and SMS can be added to any plan.
  • Basic ($60, or $50 a month on annual billing): 300 tickets and 500 seats. Adds AI Agent actions, brand voice and guardrails, and the Voice and SMS add-ons.
  • Pro ($360, or $300 annual): 2,000 tickets. Gorgias marks it “Most popular” and adds revenue attribution and 1:1 onboarding.
  • Advanced ($900, or $750 annual): 5,000 tickets, with white-glove onboarding and dedicated support.
  • Enterprise (via sales): for teams over 5,000 conversations a month, with SSO (SAML), audit logs, custom contract terms and a dedicated CSM and solutions architect.

Gorgias runs deepest on Shopify; our guide to Gorgias for Shopify covers what the integration does on each plan.

How does Gorgias bill AI Agent?

Gorgias bills AI Agent per automated interaction: $0.90 each on annual plans and $1.00 on monthly plans, as of October 2026. Each plan includes an allotment when you add AI Agent (30, 30, 190 or 530 a month). Above the allotment, the offer data on the pricing page lists $1.50 per interaction. Handed-over conversations are not charged as automated interactions.

Automated interaction, monthly plan$1.00Per interaction resolved without a person

Interactions above the allotment$1.50 eachOverage, charged per interaction

Sources: Gorgias pricing page and its help centre article on how you’re billed, read on 26 October 2026. The $1.50 overage appears in the offer description Gorgias publishes with the pricing page rather than on the plan cards, and the help centre says overage rates depend on your tier.

One figure on the page does not match the others. The plan comparison table lists the per-interaction rate as $1.00 (Starter), $0.90 (Basic and Pro) and $0.85 (Advanced). The Advanced plan card, the pricing FAQ and the page’s offer data all work out at $0.90 on annual billing ($477 for 530 interactions) and $1.00 on monthly billing ($530 for 530).

This guide uses $0.90 and $1.00; at $0.85, the annual Advanced examples below would be $75 a month lower at 5,000 tickets and $150 lower at 10,000. Ask Gorgias which rate your contract uses.

What counts as an automated interaction?

An automated interaction is “a customer request that’s fully resolved without a human agent”, in the words of Gorgias’s pricing FAQ. That covers AI Agent and other automation features such as Flows, Order Management and Article Recommendations. The help centre adds the time rule: an interaction counts as automated if the customer does not need a person within 72 hours.

  • AI Agent resolves it alone: charged as an automated interaction.
  • AI Agent hands it to your team: charged as a helpdesk ticket only.
  • A person replies within 72 hours of an AI resolution: the pricing FAQ says that interaction “is only charged as a billable helpdesk ticket instead”.
  • Flows, Order Management or Article Recommendations resolve it: charged as an automated interaction only, with no ticket fee, per the help centre.

Does an automated interaction also count as a helpdesk ticket?

Yes, on current pricing. Gorgias’s pricing FAQ says: “Each AI Agent interaction also counts as a helpdesk ticket and is billed accordingly.” The help centre puts it the same way: a ticket fee and an automation fee apply to the same ticket only when AI Agent resolves it entirely without a person.

So an AI-resolved ticket counts toward both your helpdesk ticket limit and your automated interaction allotment. Accounts created before 28 May 2025 that have not moved to AI Agent with Shopping Assistant skills may still be on legacy pricing, where a ticket counts toward one or the other, according to the same help centre article.

What happens when you pass the allotment?

Gorgias’s pricing page data lists $1.50 for each automated interaction above the plan’s included allotment, as of October 2026. The help centre says you can raise your usage limit from the Billing & usage page in Gorgias, or upgrade your subscription if you regularly pass it. For extra helpdesk tickets, the pricing FAQ adds that Gorgias monitors usage and may recommend a higher tier when that costs less than overage. Our Gorgias AI Agent guide covers what the AI does for that price.

What does Gorgias cost at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 tickets a month?

With published prices only, a store pays about $570 a month at 1,000 tickets, $2,100 at 5,000 and $5,250 at 10,000 on annual billing, or $640, $2,400 and $5,700 on monthly billing. The examples assume 30% of tickets are automated interactions and an AI Agent allotment sized to that volume.

Prices from Gorgias’s pricing page in USD, as of October 2026. The 30% rate is an illustrative assumption, not a Gorgias figure; the sums exclude Voice, SMS and sales tax.

The assumptions behind the table:

  • Every ticket gets a reply from the helpdesk, so it is billable, and automated interactions count as helpdesk tickets too, as Gorgias’s FAQ states. Ticket volume therefore sets the plan.
  • 30% of tickets are automated interactions and no person replies to them within 72 hours.
  • The AI allotment is sized to the volume at the published $0.90 or $1.00; Gorgias’s help centre says you can raise the usage limit from the Billing & usage page. The last row shows the same month on annual billing with the plan’s default allotment and $1.50 per extra interaction.
  • Team size does not change the price, because Gorgias does not price per agent; Basic and higher include 500 user seats.

The plan choice follows the published overage. At 1,000 tickets on annual billing, Basic plus 700 extra tickets costs $50 + $280 = $330, more than Pro at $300, so the table uses Pro. On monthly billing, Basic plus overage is $340 against Pro at $360, so the table uses Basic; Pro adds features such as revenue attribution and 1:1 onboarding, and would make the monthly total $660.

At 5,000 tickets, Pro plus 3,000 extra tickets ($300 + $1,080 = $1,380 annual) costs more than Advanced. At 10,000 tickets, the sums use Advanced plus published overage, but Gorgias points volumes over 5,000 a month to Enterprise, where the price comes from sales.

At 5,000 tickets, every extra 10 percentage points of automation adds 500 interactions, which is $450 a month at $0.90 if the allotment covers them.

What else should you budget for?

Beyond the plan and AI Agent, Gorgias lists Voice and SMS add-ons priced by volume, extra tickets above the plan limit and sales tax. Annual billing lowers the helpdesk price and is paid upfront for 12 months. Enterprise terms come from sales. The table lists the items Gorgias names on its pricing page and help centre in October 2026.

Sources: Gorgias pricing page and billing article, USD, read on 26 October 2026. The pricing page lists no Voice or SMS prices; it says pricing “scales with your call and text volume”.

  • Annual or monthly: annual helpdesk prices are about 17% lower ($750 against $900 on Advanced) and the AI rate drops from $1.00 to $0.90. Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months; monthly plans are billed monthly and the plan cards say you can cancel anytime.
  • One ticket, several meters: a ticket that includes an email reply, a call and a text counts once each as a helpdesk, Voice and SMS ticket.
  • New tickets from old threads: a reply more than 10 days after the last email, or more than 3 days later on chat and SMS, opens a new ticket, which is billable if your team replies.
  • What is free: inbound tickets nobody replies to, spam, newsletters and auto-responders, and tags or internal notes are not billable.
  • Trial: the pricing page lists no free plan; it offers a 7-day trial with all features, and no payment details are needed to start it.

How do you forecast your Gorgias bill?

Forecast a Gorgias bill from your peak ticket volume and your expected automation rate. Pick the plan whose ticket limit covers the peak, count automated interactions as tickets too, size the AI Agent allotment to the interactions you expect, then add Voice, SMS and tax. Confirm the result with Gorgias before you sign.

  1. Peak volume: use your busiest month, such as Black Friday or a sale, not the average.
  2. Plan: choose the tier whose ticket limit covers that peak, or compare it with the tier below plus $0.36 or $0.40 per extra ticket.
  3. Automated interactions: estimate the share of tickets AI Agent and other automation resolve without a person, and multiply.
  4. Allotment: size it to that number at $0.90 or $1.00; anything above it costs $1.50.
  5. Billing term: annual lowers both the helpdesk price and the AI rate, paid upfront.
  6. Add-ons: add Voice and SMS by volume tier, and sales tax.
  7. Check the model: ask Gorgias whether your account is on current or legacy pricing, and which per-interaction rate applies to your plan ($0.90 or the $0.85 its comparison table shows on Advanced).

Where does Engaige fit?

Engaige (that’s us) is the e-commerce-native AI support agent that plugs into the Gorgias you already run, actually resolves across your stack and keeps improving itself. Keep your helpdesk. Replace the AI. Behind the agent is Engaige AI, which learns from your conversations and inputs, configures your support agent and shows which policies it used.

Engaige's value proposition, 'Resolve up to 90% of your support tickets automatically', and its subline, 'The AI agent that learns your products, policies and tone, then closes tickets end-to-end. Live in hours.', above the product's policy editor from the Engaige demo organisation: asked in plain language to create a policy for damaged items, Engaige AI adds 'Damaged item, replacement in stock', which checks stock, creates a free reshipment and leaves a note for the warehouse, captured 23 October 2026.

How it is priced. Engaige is a flat monthly fee tied to your ticket volume, predictable as you scale. You keep your Gorgias plan for your team; Engaige works inside it through our Gorgias integration, with no migration of tickets, macros or history.

How it works in Gorgias. Engaige is live in Agent Assist in hours. Every reply your team sends is compared with what the agent suggested, one of the signals Engaige AI learns from, and it proposes changes with its reasoning for you to approve. Ticket types go autonomous one at a time; once autonomous, Engaige takes the action, replies to the customer and closes the ticket in Gorgias.

Built for the store. Engaige reads several live systems in one answer: on Shopify it combines live Admin API data with the marketing content from your storefront, alongside returns, subscriptions and carriers. It takes native actions such as refunds, cancellations and address changes, with 50+ native integrations. At Otrium, Engaige resolves 60% of 120,000 annual tickets end to end.

How much does Gorgias cost per month?

As of October 2026, Gorgias’s US pricing page lists Starter at $10, Basic at $60, Pro at $360 and Advanced at $900 a month on monthly billing, or $50, $300 and $750 on annual billing (Starter is monthly only). AI Agent is added per automated interaction, and Enterprise is priced through sales.

Is Gorgias priced per agent?

No. Gorgias’s pricing page says the helpdesk is “never priced per agent”. Plans are priced by monthly ticket volume. Starter includes 3 user seats, and Basic, Pro and Advanced include 500, according to the plan comparison in October 2026.

Is there a free plan or a free trial?

Gorgias’s pricing page lists no free plan. It offers a 7-day trial with access to all features, and you do not need to enter payment details to start it. Starter, at $10 a month, is the lowest paid plan.

How are Gorgias AI Agent interactions counted?

An interaction is automated when AI Agent or another automation feature resolves the request and no person is needed within 72 hours. It costs $0.90 on annual plans or $1.00 on monthly plans, and $1.50 above your allotment. Gorgias says each AI Agent interaction also counts as a helpdesk ticket.

What do Gorgias Voice and SMS cost?

Gorgias sells Voice and SMS as add-ons, billed per Voice or SMS ticket; its plan comparison lists them from Basic up. Its pricing page lists no prices for them in October 2026 and says pricing scales with your call and text volume, so the tier comes from Gorgias.

What does Gorgias cost for 10,000 tickets a month?

With Advanced plus published overage for 5,000 extra tickets and 30% of tickets automated, published prices add up to about $5,250 a month on annual billing or $5,700 on monthly billing, before Voice, SMS and tax. Gorgias directs volumes over 5,000 a month to Enterprise pricing through sales.

Can I keep Gorgias and use Engaige?

Yes. Engaige plugs into the Gorgias you already run and replaces the AI on your tickets, with no migration. It is priced as a flat monthly fee tied to your ticket volume, predictable as you scale. Keep your helpdesk, replace the AI.
